Mallory Pugh likely out for remainder of 2017 women’s national team games

When Mallory Pugh left the field with an injury sustained in a game with the U.S. women’s national team against South Korea last week, she clearly was in severe physical and emotional pain, but her fans needn’t fear the worst.

The Highlands Ranch prodigy sustained a strained right hamstring. Team doctors say her recovery should take about six weeks, and that would knock her out of the national team’s final two games of 2017 against Canada, Nov. 9 and Nov. 12.
