Multiple dead as police respond to active shooter in Clovis, New Mexico

Multiple people have been killed, as police confront an active shooter situation at the Clovis-Carver Public Library in Clovis, New Mexico, according to local reports.

Air ambulances were dispatched, according to the Eastern New Mexico News, via police scanner traffic. One victim was reportedly taken to the Clovis Municipal Airport.

Six people were injured in the Monday afternoon shooting, according to KAMR. A suspect has reportedly been taken into custody, Interim City Manager Tom Phelps told KAMR.
